This is what I learned in June 2016:
- Although this may sound like from a bad movie, my computer acted pretty strange recently. While desktop sharing with my teammates via Lync, my keyboard layout switched to Chinese. First, I suspected Lync to cause this. However, this is a “feature” of Windows which gets triggered somehow. Editing the regedit will put an end to this.
- In Intellij IDEA, you can type “syso” and press TAB or ENTER to create “System.out.println”. This is just one of many life templates. I love shortcuts. :)
- I wrote an article about how I use DTOs.
- Tino wrote a nice embedded Tomcat example.
